Your First Visit
Here at Molloy Dental Practice we aim to offer a service of complete care to all our patients.
After your initial examination of both your teeth, gums and face, we will discuss the condition of all the tissues in your mouth, while showing you the intra-oral pictures on screens mounted on all chairs to get you involved in your care from the start.
If intervention is needed, all treatment options will be explained, their advantages and disadvantages and their associated costs, including any tax relief available, will be discussed. We will answer any questions that you may have and together, come up with the best treatment plan that suits your needs. We want to involve you at every stage of the process, it's your mouth!
Generally if the treatment required is more complex it may take some time to construct a comprehensive plan, and we may post this out to you and then discuss it at a second appointment.
When your treatment plan is complete and depending on your individual requirements we will then recommend a suitable recall time for us to examine you again, prevention is better than cure. We have found that our regular attendees always have far less problems with their teeth than irregular attendees. Regular visits also enable us to detect problems early when they are easy and cheaper to correct.
